Dr. Nimmi 卡普尔 is a Breast Surgical Oncologist and an Associate Professor of Surgery at the David Geffen 医学院 at UCLA.  毕业后 优等生 以及皇冠hga025大学洛杉矶分校的优等生荣誉, she earned her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College, graduating with both Alpha Omega Alpha designation and Honors in 研究.  She then attended New York Presbyterian Hospital—Cornell for General Surgery residency and Memorial Sloan Kettering 癌症中心 for 肿瘤外科 residency training. 在纽约实习期间, she also completed a research fellowship with a focus on breast and endocrine cancers. 在加入UCLA之前，Dr. 卡普尔 worked for Cedars Sinai and created the Breast Program at Providence Cedars Sinai Tarzana Medical Center where she served as Medical Director. She has authored dozens of papers in high impact journals, has written several textbook chapters, and has won numerous awards for her research endeavors.  在过去十年中, she has been instrumental in expanding access to quality breast cancer care to residents throughout the 圣费尔南多谷. She has been named a 前 Doctor in Los Angeles Magazine and a Super Doctor in Los Angeles Times numerous times over. Dr. 卡普尔 currently practices out of the UCLA-恩西 Oncology location, continuing her commitment to bringing excellence in cancer care to the community.  Her areas of interest include oncoplastic surgery, genetic testing and risk assessment, 乳腺超声应用, 乳腺癌预防, and neoadjuvant chemotherapy clinical trials.
